JOHNSON, III - Mr. Herschel Lee Johnson, III, age 61 of Loganville, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 30, 2019 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Adam Herrington will officiate. Interment will follow at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery. Lee was a member of Sharon Baptist Church and retired from LaFarge Aggregates with 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by his father, Herschel Lee Johnson, Jr. Lee is survived by his Wife of 42 years, Susie Thompson Johnson; Son & Daughter-in-law: Herschel Lee "Bud" Johnson, IV & Amanda Johnson of Loganville; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Alisha & John Lee of Grantville; Aleatha & Danny Stewart of Covington; Grandchildren: Bryce, Brylie, & Isabella Johnson, Gracie Lee, Azalee Stewart, & Baby Nathan Stewart due in August; Mother & Step-Father: Margaret & Marvin Ray Miller of Jackson; Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Patrick Lyndon Johnson & Amanda Johnson of Jackson; Harrell Lance Johnson & Cindy Johnson of Jackson; Step-Brothers: Greg Miller & Brian Miller, both of Jackson; Numerous Extended Family and Friends. Flowers are accepted or in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sharon Baptist Church Children's Fund, 5690 South Sharon Church Road, Loganville, GA 30052. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, GA 30052. 770-466-1544.
