The city of Jackson has several events planned for the remainder of March, including a St. Patrick’s Day food truck event, a city-wide cleanup day and a bike race.
A St. Patrick’s food truck event is set for Friday, March 17 beginning at 5:30 p.m. The following food trucks will be set up at 134 S. Oak Street: Tasty Tempting, Soul 2 Soul, Top it off Funnel Cake, Affordable Gourmet and Coffee A Go Go.
The cleanup day is set for Saturday, March 18. Volunteers will meet at Jackson City Hall at 8 a.m. to receive supplies. The event typically ends by noon. In the case of rain, the event will be postponed until the next Saturday.
Jackson’s first bike race, the Outdoor Capital Classic, will be held Saturday, March 25 and Sunday March, 26. TopView Sports will host the event.
The criterium will be on March 25 on the Jackson Square beginning at noon. The road race is set for March 26 beginning at 8 a.m. at Dauset Trails Nature Center.
