The Annual Butts County 4-H Poinsettia Fundraiser began Oct. 1 and will run through Nov. 18.

Every year funds are needed for 4-H’ers to participate in various competitions. To help with those costs, they will be selling poinsettias for the Christmas holiday season.

Costs are:

♦ $25 for a large poinsettia, approximately 3 feet tall in full bloom.

♦ $20 for a medium poinsettia, approximately 1 1/2 feet tall in full bloom.

You can choose between red, white, or pink poinsettias.

To place your order, call 770-775-8209 or go by the 4-H office at 576 Ernest Biles Drive in Jackson. Payment is due at the time of the order and are cash or checks only. Order deadline is Nov. 18.

The poinsettias must be picked up Dec. 3 or Dec. 4, at the 4-H office, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, and from 1-5 p.m. Butts County 4-H will not be responsible for poinsettias left at the office after Dec. 4.

For more information, call 770-775-8209.
