Ken Scott brought his "To the Moon and Back" magic show to the Jackson-Butts County Public Library June 11 during the Summer Reading Program.

Scott taught children in the audience about space, showed them some books on astronauts and preformed entertaining magic tricks, many using volunteers he chose right out of the audience. The show also included songs, sounds and characters intended to bring the magic to life.

The audience included children from across the community.

Summer Reading Program performances are held each Tuesday at the library, at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
