The Exchange Club of Jackson on Feb. 7 hosted its 36th annual Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) banquet at Jackson High School, recognizing 20 outstanding high school seniors and 17 teachers that have inspired them. Abby Shurtz was named the overall STAR student for 2019, and she, in turn, named Christa Miller her STAR teacher.
