Butts County has a new IHOP restaurant, located at the TravelCenters of America on Truckstop Way in Jackson.

The IHOP opened Oct. 28 and is the first restaurant under the brand to be located in a corporately owned TA travel center, according to Denise Lovell, manager of the restaurant.

The opening was celebrated Thursday with a Butts County Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting.

The IHOP is open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., and can seat up to 156 guests, Lovell said.
