Victory Temple

Victory Temple Ministries, at 102 Cleveland St., Locust Grove, will host a year-end revival at noon Dec. 29. The theme is “Finish Strong.” The event will include singing, food and festivities. Ole Country

The Ole Country Church, at 2649 Ga. Highway 155 N., McDonough, will host its annual New Year’s Eve service with the Singing Echoes at 8 p.m. Dec. 31. There is no ticket price, but a love offering will be taken. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

Jackson UMC

Jackson United Methodist Church, at 409 E. Third St., Jackson, will host an Alpha dinner at 6 p.m. Jan. 16, with the course beginning at 6:45 p.m.

St. Mary,

Mother of God

St. Mary, Mother of God Catholic Church, at 359 Old Griffin Road, Jackson, has Saturday mass at 5 p.m. and Sunday mass at 9 a.m. Religious education is on Sundays from 10:20 to 11:20 a.m. Youth group, which is for middle through high school ages, takes place the second Sunday of each month, following religious education. Order of Christian Initiation for Adults meets Thursdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. to discuss faith and learn more about Catholicism. Daily Chaplet of Divine Mercy is at 3 p.m.

Jerusalem tour

Ed Hoard, pastor of Zebulon’s First Baptist Church, is inviting others to travel with him this February to the Holy Land. Hoard has been leading tours to Israel for 28 years, and this will be his final tour. Among the sites to be visited are the Sea of Galilee, Bethlehem, Golgotha, the Garden Tomb, Jerusalem and scores of other important biblical places. The nine-day tour is all-inclusive, including airfare, five-star hotels, a luxury touring coach, admission to all sites and a government-required tour guide. First Baptist

Jackson First Baptist Church, located at 1227 W. Third St., hosts the Ironmen Bible Study led by Pastor Cary Snelling every Wednesday at 6 a.m. All men are invited. Breakfast is free.

Macedonia Baptist

Macedonia Baptist Church, at 151 Macedonia Church Road, Jackson, hosts Bible study for all ages each Sunday at 9 a.m. followed by a worship service at 10:30 a.m.
