Mother of God
St. Mary, Mother of God Catholic Church, at 359 Old Griffin Road, Jackson, has Saturday mass at 5 p.m. and Sunday mass at 9 a.m. Religious education is on Sundays from 10:20 to 11:20 a.m. Youth group, which is for middle through high school ages, takes place the second Sunday of each month, following religious education. Ed Hoard, pastor of Zebulon’s First Baptist Church, is inviting others to travel with him this February to the Holy Land. Hoard has been leading tours to Israel for 28 years, and this will be his final tour.
