Mr. and Mrs. Tony (Kim) Biles of Jackson and Mr. Anthony Steele of Griffin are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily L. Steele, to Derriel J. Stanfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kerry (Jan) Cranford of Jackson and Mr. Terry Stanfield of Griffin.

Emily is a graduate of Gordon College with a degree in nursing and is currently employed by LifeLink of Georgia as a transplant coordinator. Derriel served in the U.S. Army for six years and is currently attending Middle Georgia State College to complete his certification as a civilian helicopter pilot.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ms. Mary Jo Kleine of Kennesaw, Mrs. Peggy Kleine and the late Mr. Jerry Kleine of Locust Grove and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Steele of Griffin. The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Kent of McDonough and Mr. and Mrs. Derriel Stanfield of Griffin.

The wedding is planned for May 2013 at the Rocky Branch Ranch in Forsyth.
