NOTICE OF PUBLIC SALE OF PROPERTY Notice is hereby given that the City of Jackson invites proposals for the purchase of three adjoining lots in the Stanebrook Subdivision. These lots are more particularly identified and described below. The sale shall be conducted via sealed bids which will be opened at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Jackson City Hall, 134 S. Oak Street, Jackson, Georgia 30233. Bid blanks and other written material connected with the sale may be obtained from the City Clerk, Brittany Brown, at Jackson City Hall, 134 S. Oak Street, Jackson, Georgia 30233. Conditions of the sale shall be as follows: 1) All three lots shall be sold as a package and no bids for individual lots will be accepted; 2) The minimum bid to be considered shall be no less than twenty-thousand dollars ($20,000.00); 3) The property is being sold AS-IS; and 4) All bids must be submitted to the City Clerk no later than 10:00 AM on Monday, August 17, 2020. ALSO: All and only that parcel of land designated as Tax Parcel J011A-00000-042-000, lying and being in Land Lots 104 and 105, 1st Land District of Butts County, Georgia, being 0.82 acres, more or less, all of Lot 42, Stanebrook Subdivision, as shown in a certain plat of survey entitled “Final Plat for Stanebrook” prepared by Landmark Surveying and Planning, Inc. and recorded in Plat Book 15, Pages 182-184, Office of Clerk, Butts County Superior Court. Said plat and its descriptive data are incorporated herein by reference to same. Being a portion of 41.18 acres conveyed to Koppar Corporation in Deed Book 455, Page 297.
