The Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 6:00 PM in the C. Wayne King Auditorium at the Butts County Administration Building located at 625 West Third Street, Jackson, Georgia. Case #05(01)-2019 Terrel L. Savage of Mansfield, Georgia is requesting a Special Use for a new Telecommunication Tower. Said property is located on Lamars Mill Road a/k/a Cork Road(Map & Parcel 00780-033-000), Land Lots 60 & 61, Fourteenth Land District. The purpose of the special use request is to construct a new Tele communication Tower. Case #05(02)-2019 Mark Cartonio of Jackson, Georgia is requesting a rezoning from AR - Agricultural-Residential to C-2 - Commercial - General/Highway and/or a Special Use for a Commer- cial Greenhouse, Plant Nursery and Shrubbery Sales. Said property is located at 2640 High Falls Road (Map & Parcel 00220-007-C00), Land Lot 14, Fourth Land District. The purpose of the re zoning and/or special use request is for a Commercial Greenhouse, Plant Nursery and Shrubbery Sales. Case #05(03)-2019 Bostick, Bowers, Padgett, LTD of Jackson, Georgia is requesting a rezoning from R-3 - Single Family Residential - High Density to C-2 - Commercial - General/Highway. Said property is located at 178 Glade(Steele) Road (Map & Parcel 00030-031-000, 00030-031-A00, 00030- 031-B00 & 00030-031- C00), Land Lot 6, Second Land District. The purpose of the rezoning request is for a proposed truck repair shop/facility and truck parking. Case #05(04)-2019 Bostick, Bowers, Padgett, LTD of Jackson, Georgia is requesting a Special Use for a proposed truck repair shop/facility. Said property is located 178 Glade(Steele) Road (Map & Parcel 00030-031-000, 00030-031-A00, 00030- 031-B00 & 00030-031- C00), Land Lot 6, Second Land District. The purpose of the special use request is for a proposed Truck Repair Shop/Facility. Amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance, including but not limited to, the water shed water supply district regulations and accessory uses and structures regulations pertaining to the location of swimming pools. Amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance, including but not limited to, the regula- tion of commercial green houses, plant nurseries and shrubbery sales. Recommendations by the Planning and Zoning Commission on each of these matters will go before the Butts County Board of Commissioners, which, prior to voting, will also conduct public hearings on each of the matters, on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 6:00PM in the C. Wayne King Auditorium at the Butts County Administration Building located at 625 West Third Street, Jackson, Georgia.
