NOTICE OF LOCATION AND DESIGN APPROVAL P. I. 0013379 BUTTS COUNTY Notice is hereby given in compliance with Georgia Code 22-2-109 and 32-3-5 that the Georgia Department of Transportation has approved the Location and Design of this project. The date of location and design approval is: March 8, 2021 This project is an operations improvement project which proposes the construction of a new connector between the intersection of Brownlee Road at SR 36/Mulberry Street and Covington Street at Third St/SR 16/SR 42/SR 36. The proposed project location is in Butts County Land Lots 72, 73, and 89 in Land District 1. The proposed roadway consists of two twelve-feet lanes, one in each direction. The total project length is approximately 0.6 miles long. The project includes 9 month road closure and detour at College Street and Hancock Street.
