This includes construction of 12 miles of hiking/biking segments of a trail system which will link the City of Jackson with EXISTING trails in Indian Springs State Park and Dauset Trails Nature Center with all related accessories as shown on the plans and called for in the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications. The project shall be Substantially Complete within 90 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed of the contract. The City of Jackson will receive proposals until 1:00 PM on August 15th at City Hall; 134 South Oak Street Jackson, Georgia 30233. Proposals received after this time will not be accepted. City will open all proposals but will not disclose the contents of the submitted proposals. O.C.G.A. 36-91-21(c)(1)(B). Pre-Proposal Meeting will be on site August 8th at 10:00 AM. All bidders are encouraged to attend but not mandatory. This project is funded by a grant from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources via the Recreational Trails Program.
