Church News: Revival concludes at Towaliga County Line

Towaliga County Line Baptist Church, at 153 Short Road, Jackson, will host a revival Aug. 27-29 at 7 p.m., each night, with speaker Bishop Jerry F. Hutchins and the Kingdom Now Ministry. For more information, call (770) 775-3995.

First Baptist

First Baptist Church, at 1227 West Third St., Jackson, will hold a Wednesday night supper Aug. 29 at 6 p.m. The menu will include grilled chicken and pasta, salad, green beans and peach cobbler. A prayer meeting will follow, at 7 p.m.

The cost is $5 for adults and $2 for kids, with a maximum of $15 per family.

Awanas will begin Sept. 5 at 6:30 p.m., for children ages pre-k through fifth- grade. A youth prayer meeting is held every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. A nursery is provided.

Sunday evening classes at 6 p.m., open to community, include the following: Learning to Sew While Sewing Seeds for Christ; Beth Moore Study for Ladies; youth boys and girls study; Sharing Your Faith in Jesus Without Fear; Experiencing God; Understanding the Science of Creation; Getting Fit in Physical, Spiritual and Emotional Areas; and kids church for children K5 to fifth-grade. A nursery is offered for children younger than 5.
