Rising Star to hold Women's Conference

The women of Rising Star Baptist Church will celebrate the annual Women's Conference on Sunday, Jan. 23. The speaker of the hour will be First Lady Sylvia Travis. Powerhouse Apostolic

Powerhouse Apostolic Church of Promise is holding a three-night-per-week revival over six weeks beginning Jan. 19 and ending March 4. Jackson UMC

All members of the community experiencing grief because of the loss of a loved one or other personal problems are invited to attend a free program every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The group is led by the Rev. Dr. Ben Wright.

First Baptist

The AWANA program at First Baptist Church of Jackson is hosting a big indoor yard sale on Saturday, Jan. 22 from 8 a.m., until 2 p.m. It will be held inside the gym and breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase.
